One Step Forward
One Step Forward is a Bereavement Support group based in Sedgefield, County Durham. The group of about 12 trained Listeners come together to lend support to anyone in the community who is enduring Loss. This confidential, informal group meets weekly to listen and share their experiences, lending support to others as they find their own way through their grief.
The group didn’t yet have a brand identity or any printed material to help spread the word throughout the local community. I’ve been working with them on a voluntary basis in developing a brand for them, along with contact cards and related support information.
The footprints theme evolved from the writings of Mary Stevenson, with ‘Footprints in the Sand’ having special significance within the group.
One Step Forward meets every Thursday afternoon in St Edmund’s Welcome Room, from 3pm – 5pm. All are welcome, of all faiths and none.
